DESK TOUR
L-shaped wood desk with a red chair at the center
Can you change the impression of your studio with just one chair? The red chair between the bright wood desktop and the white frame catches the eye. Let’s also look at how the front and sides of the L-shaped desk can be used for different purposes.

- color combination
- Light wood, white, red, small amounts of yellow and green
- work area
- Front monitor and input tool / right auxiliary desktop and wall storage
- lighting configuration
- Monitor top bar light + right articulating reading light

We look at the relationship between placement and color in the photo and suggest ways to apply it to your own desk.
Focus on one chair
The red color extends not only to the backrest and seat, but also to the armrests and wheel rests. A large block of color is placed in the front, creating visual balance with the black monitor. I couldn't confirm the brand or adjustability of the chair in the photo, so I only used the color and shape as a reference.
Try alternating between looking at the screen from the front and using the tray on the right. It's also a good idea to check that frequently used tools aren't pushed too far into the corners.
