How Deskterior handles and protects your personal information.

1. Purpose of processing personal information
Deskterior operator (hereinafter “Operator”) only processes personal information necessary for the following purposes.
- Member identification, login and account management
- Provides member functions such as scraping, comments, and voting
- Inquiry reception, identity verification and response
- Response to service failures, security and prevention of unauthorized use
- Usage status analysis and service improvement

Google login and user content features process relevant information from the moment the feature is actually activated. The operator has no plans to collect sensitive information such as social security numbers or health information.
3. Processing and retention period of personal information
- Member information: Until membership withdrawal or account deletion is completed.
- Inquiry record: 3 years after completion of inquiry processing
- Access and security records: up to 1 years from collection date
- Posted Content: Until you delete it or delete your account. However, if it is necessary to protect the rights of other users or respond to disputes, it may be stored for the period permitted by relevant laws.
If there is a separate preservation obligation in the law, it will be kept for the period specified in the law. Before actual operation, you must ensure that the above period matches your system settings.

5. Entrustment and overseas transfer of personal information processing work
We plan to use or introduce the following external services to operate the service.

- MongoDB, Inc.: Storage and management of member and service data
- Hosting provider: Providing web applications and processing access logs
If the above company's servers are located overseas, personal information may be transferred over the network. The transfer country, transfer date and method, retention period, transfer rejection method, and effects upon refusal are separately specified before operation after confirming the actual contract and server region.

If this processing policy changes, we will notify you through a notice prior to the effective date. Any changes that significantly affect the rights of users will be notified in sufficient time, and separate consent will be obtained if necessary.
