DESK TOUR
Sunshine studio made of white and rose
Want to keep your white furniture but add a pop of color? This is a window-side laptop setup with a rose-colored mat and colored overhead lighting. Let’s look at the reason why storage and light are placed at different heights.

I placed the laptop and external keyboard in the middle, and task light and small organizing items were placed on the left. The round light on the right and the mesh drawer under the desk fill the space at different heights. Dark curtains and plants on the windowsill and a striped rug on the floor add weight around the bright furniture.
White storage extending under the desk
The center of the space is a composition that references the IKEA LAGKAPTEN / ADILS white desk. I matched the legs to the desktop and the same color, and placed a small drawer underneath them referring to the IKEA and LENNART. If you match the colors of the desk and storage furniture, they will look connected in one space even if they are of different shapes placed together.
As the storage was lowered, the desktop placed the equipment and small items needed for work at the center. concept image's drawer is located on the right, but it is better to decide the actual location first from where you sit. The method is to check the range of insertion and removal of the chair and the space for the knees to move, and then move the drawer to the remaining space.
Mesh material is also a recurring element in this studio. The mesh structure of the drawers connects to the laptop stand above the desktop, the pen stand, and the organizer on the wall shelf. Even though the types of objects are different, colors and materials are repeated, giving a sense of connection to the overall composition. Since this is a storage where the contents are visible through the mesh, it would be good to actually consider the size and shape of the items to be stored.
