DESK GUIDE / placement
From monitor arm to PC, how to place equipment above and below your desk
The top of the desk is neat, but is monitor arm hanging on the shelf and PC below touching your feet? Place the screen, shelf, main body, and cables separately, but check the range of movement together. Shall we arrange it from top to bottom?

First, try positioning the screen while sitting. Then, place the shelves and speakers, leave space for the chair and feet to move, and organize the PC and wiring. Shall we go from top to bottom and guess them one by one?
The space, furniture, and product details of the expanded area may differ from the actual appearance, so please look at it as a layout idea.
Decide on the screen position before placing the shelf
First, sit in a chair and assume your usual working posture. All you have to do is place the screen in an easy-to-read position and look for space underneath it for a shelf. If you place the shelf first and adjust the height of the screen, you may end up raising it higher than originally necessary.
If you support the screen with an arm, the shelf does not necessarily need to serve as a monitor support. If you don't plan on installing speakers or small items, you can also use desktop empty. Compare the storage space you gain by adding shelves and the depth they occupy. Shelves are a choice to add when they serve a necessary role.
monitor arm Leave the fixed part and moving path empty
Before attaching the shelf to the back of the desk, shall we first check the monitor arm fixture? desktop You need to look at not only the upper fixing part but also the lower fastening part. It is important that it does not overlap the desk frame or cable tray. desktop Please check the manual of the arm to be used for installation conditions depending on thickness and material.
Pull the screen forward and turn it left and right to check whether the arm joints or connecting lines touch the shelf or wall. Even if it looks neat in one place, it can get caught if you move it around. It is better not to place decorations where cancer passes. It would be a good idea to leave some space so that the connecting wire does not get pulled.
