How to Add Color Accents to a Blue and White Desk Setup
One orange lamp against a blue wall can shift the whole focal point. In this setup, the size and placement of each patch of color matter more than the number of colors.

Try this sequence with the desk you already have before replacing furniture. The styling images were recomposed into landscape 16:9 views from supplied photos using generative tools. Exact models, measurements, materials and firsthand experience have not been verified.
1. Start with the three largest surfaces
Take a photo that includes the wall, desktop and neighboring furniture. Here, those broad surfaces are blue, white and wood-toned. Before choosing small accessories, notice how much of each surface is visible.
Compare a new color alongside your current desk photo, rather than judging the product image on its own. If the wall color is fixed, treat it as the backdrop and begin with an easier change, such as a lamp or small accessory.

2. Give one vivid accent a place
The orange lamp acts as a small focal point on the right. The yellow seat adds another color, but its different height and area keep the two from competing in exactly the same spot.
Add one object before introducing several at once, then compare the front and angled views. If it covers the screen edge from your seat or blocks something you use often, move it even if the color looks perfect.
