How to add red accents to a wood desk
I want to put a red chair on my wood desk, but should other accessories be red as well? If you already have a large colored surface, you can leave the surrounding area plain. Let's look at the relationship between the area of the red point, tree color, and light.

The connected product is an alternative for purchase reference only.
Organize the large background first.
desktop, walls, and large areas such as storage boards are connected with bright, low contrast. If your existing furniture is wood and white, try maintaining the base and create a focal point. The warm colors seen in the photo are also affected by lighting, so they do not translate to the exact wood species or wall paint color of desktop.
When viewed from the entrance of the room, the backrest of the chair appears larger, and the desktop and input device appear larger from the seated position. If you look at it from two positions, it becomes easier to decide whether to add more points or leave it as is.

View area rather than number of points
At this desk, the red chair has the largest area. The yellow props and green plants fit into a much smaller area and do not share the main character. When choosing a new prop, rather than just matching the color name, compare the area visible from where you are sitting and the door.
Before buying multiple red accessories, try putting down a notebook or small container you have. If the large chair stands out enough, you don't need to increase the color of the other decorations.
