How to use black and beige together on a wood desk
I want to add black and beige to my wood desk. Which color should I use? Take a look at the background, equipment and props with desktop. Before choosing a new item, let's start by repeating the colors you already have.

Based on the widest side, desktop
In this draft, wood occupies a large area of desktop. There are many areas where the wood grain is exposed, so the color of the wood is still visible even if the surrounding objects are black. First, take a look at what color is most visible on your desk.
If you are already using a desk, rather than replacing desktop, you can start by temporarily removing the items on top. The next step is to check what color will be the background when looking at the walls, floor, and curtains together, and then choose the color of the props to repeat within that.
Colors in photos may look different depending on lighting and screen settings. Rather than assuming that the wood color in the concept image is the actual color name of a specific product, look at the relationship when placed together with desktop in your space.
Repeating Black on Multiple Objects
Black is repeated on the desk legs, monitor riser, mat, wall shelves and frame. The same color is used on objects that are separated from each other, so that the composition of the desk and wall is connected.
When applying, start by looking for black objects you already have. You can use an existing color, such as a monitor border or keyboard, as a starting point. Rather than putting all the items together again, you can try combining two items that are close together, such as a stand and a mat.
The wider the mat, the larger the area occupied by black in desktop. Think about how much you want the wood to show, along with the actual area you need to work with.
