DESK GUIDE / color combination
Adding rose and orange colors to a white desk
Want to keep your desk white but add some warm colors? One way is to place a rose-colored mat near your hands and an orange-colored light above your head. Even if you don't buy all the same items, you can still get the idea of dividing colors.

Even if you don't have all the same products, you can still get a way to distribute the colors in this composition. The order is to decide on the wide background, the color near the hand, and the color above the space, and finally check the harmony under the light.
First, decide on the color of the wide side
The most visible area around the desk is desktop, the walls, curtains, and floor. Before choosing small props, if you look at the colors of these surfaces together, it becomes easier to decide on the accent color. This design has a white desk, beige walls, and wooden floor, and dark curtains and dark stripes on the rug frame the surroundings.
In your own room, you can use the furniture you already have as a base. If your desk is white, match your storage and organizing accessories to similar colors, and try adding new colors to clearly located items such as mats or lights. Rather than changing all objects to the same color, it is a method of first checking whether the wide surfaces are connected to each other.
When checking the overall view, look not only from directly in front of the desk, but also from the entrance to the room. Up close, the colors of small props seem big, but from far away, desktop and the curtains take on more weight. You can choose the combination you like when looking at the two streets.
Create a rose-colored accent near your hand
The rose color of this concept image is gathered in one place on the desk mat. A mat for the keyboard and mouse unites the work area, with white desktop remaining around the area. Since the colors are not scattered in various places, it is easy to see the location of the point.
When choosing a mat, consider not only the color but also the area it will take up on your desktop. Even if it is the same rose color, the impression is different when it covers most of the desk and when it fills only the bottom of the input device. If you cut a piece of paper according to the product dimensions, you can more accurately estimate the space it will occupy on your desk than by looking at the picture on the screen.
