DESK GUIDE / Lighting arrangement
White desk decorating guide, order of dividing lighting and plant height
When adding warm lighting and plants to a white desk, start by dividing the work surface from the background. Using round mood light·task light·wall shelves and flower pots of different heights as examples, we organized the arrangement order by checking screen reflection and desktop margins.

1. Choosing a place for light to create an atmosphere
The round light is on the upper shelf, and the elongated task light is to the left of desktop. Rather than concentrating the light at one height, it can be read as an example of distinguishing between places that illuminate the space and those that illuminate the actual work surface. A bar-shaped light can be seen at the top of the monitor, but it is not possible to judge whether it lights up or its performance just by looking at the photo.
In the photo, a picture frame is placed next to a round light, and task light is placed next to a small flower pot of desktop, creating different scenes. When deciding where to place the light, start by writing down which items you want to light. The required position will vary depending on whether you want only the background to look soft or to illuminate the handwriting.
If you have existing lights, try turning them on one by one before adding new items. Comparing which aspects change reveals roles that are difficult to find in photos with multiple lights turned on at the same time.

2. Watch again with the screen on
Reflections that are not easily visible on a black screen that is turned off may become visible when the screen is turned on. Place the book and screen together during actual use time and adjust the angle and position of the lighting. Rather than using the yellow color seen in the photo as the basis for a specific Kelvin value or brightness, it is better to choose based on the product's control range and actual working conditions.
